How do you define what it is you need, How do you define compromise

Personal convictions choked back

And I don't care for someone like you who thinks there's a guarantee on anything
Especially a door where local bands and empty seas of faces ay too much for too little integrity
And I constantly question me

These checks and balances are what we need
A place where kids at shows feel a level of responsibility
It's not up to a band to make a show its envy one else who goes
With the money that we make from working our lives away

And I don't mind giving you five bucks or a place to stay so long as in your face I see that glimpse of insanity
